Before playing the hold em Tournament and making a movie we need to understand, observe and determine the basic style;
1. How many starting hands a player typically plays, and
2. The betting pattern the player uses.
There are 4 different styles:
1. Loose Passive
2. Loose aggressive
3. Tight Passive
4. Tight Aggressive
The Main objective of the player is to outlast the other players rather than trying to beat them all at once. First we need to survive multiple rounds of play to make it into the top group of players who are guaranteed a payoff. To survive and eliminate the competition we need to determine which style to be used. Its always better to use a aggressive move and keep the size of your own stack of chips and those of your opponents.
In the Texas Hold Em Tournament Strategy it allows you to make enough free moves. But at some point when there will be enough chips to make your opponent think twice about calling you and we have to make a move on the pot. This could be when you have a good hand or even if you dont. Always we need to make the move soon rather then waiting for the perfect move which will just take too long.
If your stack size is unbalanced, you may have a situation on your hands and if the opponent will just call you automatically no matter what they have then you are in trouble. So need to understand the situation when you are severely short stacked you just cant make a big enough, even if you win the pot. Some times the stack dwindles down to almost nothing so that the opponent player will just call you because they have enough chips.
Because of this situation the players get afraid of being losing their chips and being kicked out of the tournament that they dont make a move soon enough. So instead of playing defensive we need to make a move aggressively so that we dont loose the stacks slowly or sooner. So dont allow your fear to take over you and let it happen. Always we need to place our-self in a competitive position.
The Main Strategy in the Texas Hold Em Tournament is the stay alive in a tournament, which should be our number one goal. And some time we need to take a risk and make a move and have a chance of winning. So it is always better to make a move sooner and also sometimes take a chance by risking your-self.
